Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Executes functional, application and performance tests on completed printed circuit board assemblies to assure design specifications and quality management standards are met. Able to read schematics, troubleshoot to the component level. Document using testing software program.
2. Plans and implements automated testing along with building test systems or designing test cases for assigned assemblies, with the assistance of the Quality Engineer.
3. Assists product developers and technical support specialists in resolving component installation issues or problems.
4. Assists other technicians with approaches and technical issues.
Job Requirements
AA or AS Degree in electronics or engineering or equivalent training.
Specialized Knowledge and Technical Requirements:
Excellent understanding of product designs. Proficient in testing products according to company’s QA process. Understands product development process, including design programming and documentation. Excellent communications skills, ability to meet schedules.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Test Technician.
