We call it Experience Plus.
After 40 years of being a supplier of temporary human resources to industry, Senior Design has a new focus that includes a program to assist companies in mitigating the risks of losing knowledge due to the retirement of key employees.
The "loss of knowledge" is a topic being studied by both the academic and business communities. It is predicted to be a growing problem, especially as the baby boomer generation reaches retirement age. The knowledge that they have is often a resource element that is not fully understood until it is no longer there. Statistics show that the number of potential replacement employees does not equal the number of existing employees that may be leaving the workforce. Being able to effectively respond to this issue is key to the continued success of your business.
